# MyCareGuard > MyCareGuard is compliance software for CQC-registered care services in England (domiciliary and residential) and for groups of services. It keeps each service’s policies, staff evidence (training matrix, DBS and right-to-work dates), incident log and audit actions together and current, with a free CQC check for any registered service. Made by Friam Ltd (EveryGuard family), UK. It is not a legal adviser or an inspector and gives no legal advice. ## What it does - Policies for each service, reviewed and signed in the app. - Staff evidence: training matrix with knowledge checks, DBS and right-to-work dates with re-check flags. - Incident and events log with a dated audit trail; inspection pack. - Group view: every service on one page, one login, one bill. - Price: £99 + VAT per service a month; 30 days free, no card; group rates. ## What it does not do - It does not send statutory notifications to the CQC or decide whether an event is notifiable. - It does not give legal advice or replace the registered manager’s judgement. ## Pages - Home: https://mycareguard.uk/ - Free CQC check: https://mycareguard.uk/cqc-check - For groups: https://mycareguard.uk/groups - Find a care service: https://mycareguard.uk/homes - Sign in: https://mycareguard.ukhttps://app.mycareguard.uk/ - Resources: https://mycareguard.uk/resources/ - CQC’s assessment framework explained for a small care service (October 2026): https://mycareguard.uk/resources/cqc-single-assessment-framework-explained/ - Recruiting care workers: the checks and documents CQC expects in every staff file: https://mycareguard.uk/resources/care-worker-recruitment-checks-cqc/ - Care staff training: what is actually required, what CQC expects, and what is good practice: https://mycareguard.uk/resources/care-staff-training-what-is-actually-required/ - Managing medicines in home care: the support you give, the MAR chart, and what to do when something goes wrong: https://mycareguard.uk/resources/managing-medicines-in-home-care/ - Statutory notifications to CQC: what you must report, by when, and what happens next: https://mycareguard.uk/resources/cqc-notifications-what-to-report-and-when/ ## Key facts (dated, with the source) - CQC, How we reach a rating (last updated 13 May 2025): one score of 1 to 4 per assessed quality statement; key-question percentage thresholds 25 to 38% inadequate, 39 to 62% requires improvement, 63 to 87% good, 88% and above outstanding; any statement scored 1 limits a good-range key question to requires improvement. - CQC, How to submit factual accuracy comments (last updated 29 October 2025): 10 working days from the date of the email to comment on the draft report. A resources section on mycareguard.uk: CQC notifications, medicines in home care, what training the law requires, recruitment checks, and how CQC scores and rates a service. Every point cites the paragraph it comes from. - 2026-10-01 Improved: Staff seats see only their own checks. A staff login now sees its own checks and contact details, not colleagues' DBS or right to work rows. Controls a read-only seat cannot use are no longer shown. - 2026-10-01 Improved: Owner and registered manager in one option. If you are both the provider and the registered manager, you can now say so in one choice. Billing points you to About you instead of saying your role is not given. - 2026-10-01 Improved: Clearer feedback when you build a pack. The dashboard says plainly what happened when you build an inspection pack, and the pack page shows the last one you made. - 2026-10-01 Improved: Larger tap targets on public pages. Buttons and links on the public pages and link-error pages are now at least 44 pixels high, which is easier on a phone. - 2026-10-01 Fixed: Password on My profile and easier resets. You can set a sign-in password from My profile. After a reset, the Sign in page is filled with the address you typed. - 2026-10-01 Fixed: Setup checklist stays until setup is done. The checklist on your dashboard no longer disappears early. Notification switches that only matter to groups are hidden on single-home accounts. ## Company Friam Ltd, trading as MyCareGuard, part of the EveryGuard family (https://everyguard.uk).
